**Parking during Roofing Works at Dartford East Health Centre**

Due to roofing works parking spaces have been reduced. The works are not due to finish until December. Please be aware that you may have to park on one of the roads surrounding the surgery. Please allow enough time for attending your appointment.
Thank you for your co-operation.

eConsultation Service

We apologise that it will not be possible to use the practice’s/surgery’s eConsultation service from 5pm on  24 December 2021 until  8am on Tuesday 4 January 2022. Patients will still be able to access the self-help and signposting features on econsult. This has been agreed with NHS Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group. We know this will be inconvenient for some but  is necessary while GP teams also need to deliver the booster campaign. Patients who need to contact their GP team over the Christmas and New Year period should ring the practice/surgery. If they are closed there will be a message about how to get the help you need. If you need urgent medical help (but it’s not an emergency) please visit 111.nhs.uk or call 111 who can help get you to the right service and book you an appointment if appropriate.

Non-urgent advice: COVID-19 Notice

Your general practice team are here for you. We are continuing to provide services as we have been doing throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We are prioritising delivery of care and services based on clinical needs.

If you need medical advice or treatment, please ring us on 01322 421480 or, for Administration enquiries, test results, repeat prescription requests or queries please fill out an eConsult form. You can also use this link to request Medical Sickness Certificates.

If you need to visit the practice in person, please follow social distancing guidelines and do not attend if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently tested positive for COVID-19.

When you phone or go online, you will be asked to provide some information about your healthcare need. This will help the practice healthcare team assess the most appropriate way to provide your care, which may include a face-to-face consultation and ensure it is provided by the most appropriate person. Face-to-face appointments are available to patients where there is a clinical need.

Consultation requests for non-urgent help can be made online. They will be responded to as soon as possible, usually within two working days.

Alternatively, visit the local pharmacy for clinical advice on minor health concerns.

For urgent issues or out of hours, you can also call the NHS on 111 or go online to seek NHS advice 111.nhs.uk

Appointments are being offered face-to-face, by telephone, or using video calls and messaging to your mobile or computer – the practice team will assess what is most appropriate for you and if you have a preference you can discuss this with them.

Thank you for your co-operation
